The fossils were found in northern China this year, which is embedded in the rocks 160 million years and were considered “Darwinopterus” after the famous naturalist Charles Darwin.

The creature’s discovery surprised scientists, because it depends on your age in both categories recognized pterodactyls – forms of primitive and advanced forms of the long tail short tail – and shows characteristics of both.

The combination of features indicates that the primitive pterodactyls developed quickly enough, and that some groups of functions at the same time changed.

The theory of evolution is a feature would be traditional – a queue, for example – to develop slowly over time.

“Darwinopterus was a shock for us,” says David Unwin of the University of Leicester’s School of Museum Studies, which identifies the nature, in collaboration with researchers from the Geological Institute of Beijing.

“We have always expected, a gap-filler, typical characteristics of an intermediary, like a tail of medium length – either short or long – but the strange thing is Darwinopterus has a head and neck so pterosaurs grew, while the rest of the skeleton is like a very long tail, similar to primitive forms,”he said.

By comparing fossils with other earlier and later periods, scientists have the opportunity to make a sketch of the sequence pterodactyl’s evolution.

“The head and neck develops first, followed by the body, tail, wings and legs,” says Unwin.

The researchers say that further studies are needed to the idea that evolution could give rise to occur relatively quickly and that all parts of a plant or an animal’s body could change everything at once.

Fossils show Darwinopterus was the size of a crow, with long jaws, sharp, sharp teeth and a flexible neck.

E ‘was “Hawk-like” say the notes, the academic world, what the nature of killing and eating little helped, feathered dinosaurs, which later developed into birds.

Pterodactyls were widely distributed in the Mesozoic Era between 220 and 65 million years.

The research was published in the directory “Proceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences.”

Chennai: Geologists have discovered a group of dinosaur eggs, has about 65 million years ago in a village in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, according to press reports Saturday.

“We found: layer after layer spherical and dinosaur eggs and body parts of each cluster contains eight eggs,” M. Ramkumar, a geologist at the University of Periyar, who was a team led by a survey in the words of Hindu cities.

The eggs, which grew to 8 inches in diameter, discovered in a study funded by Indian institutions and scientists in Germany.

The clusters were caused by ash from volcanic eruptions in the Deccan plain, one might say that geologists have vanished dinosaurs.

The nest was found on the banks of streams and bottom of the basin of the Cauvery river, with a cluster of fossilized eggs, manure and bones of dinosaurs.

The researchers asked the officials to cordon off the site, as a similar discovery in northern India has led to a plundering of fossil fuels.

A treasure trove of 4.4 million years old fossils from the deserts of Ethiopia is widespread ideas about the dramatic reversal of the early ancestors of man and how he came to walk upright, the researchers reported.

The heart of the diverse collection of primates, fossil plants and animals is nearly complete skeleton of an ancestor of man, shows that our early ancestors looked nothing like a chimpanzee, primate, or major.

Instead, the results indicate that the last common ancestor of humans and primates, there are nearly two million years, was once a primitive creature that only a few traits in common with the current members of both groups.

The findings, published in a large study group on Thursday in the journal Science, looked even our ancestors had speculated to walk upright in forests not only for grazing than previous generations of researchers.

The discovery of the sample is called Ardipithecus ramidus “one of the most important discoveries in the study of human evolution,” said paleoanthropologist David Pilbeam of Harvard University, who was not involved in research.

Find some new rock generation antiques from 3000 to 4000 years, Suphan Buri and Mon Tue Deanchgag tomahawk stone bracelets china clay pot large. Fossil skeleton found with large animals ..

At 12.00 am today (September 13) Journalists have increasingly been informed by Mr. Pinyho Hmpa Permanent Abt. estate mine hypersensitive Mon Tue Deanchgag Suphanburi that villagers found ancient objects in many areas among which 2. part was kept at the home of Mr. Thongma, 69-year-old cliff section headman another was given to the Fine Arts office at 2 Suphanburi to make sure. The antiques found. Comprised. Fossil skeleton assumptions that large animals should be Kramchgag. Tomahawk stone bracelets including core drilling with three-legged pot clay pot pottery. As well as dishes made from scrap many other stones.

Mr. Pinyho said that the increasingly common now to not know exactly what the next generation must wait staff from the Fine Arts office at 2 Suphanburi arrived scrutiny again. But by questioning the staff of the Office of Fine Arts. Initially, note that these items may be in the New Stone Age, or approximately 3000 to 4000 years ago, especially traditional tomahawk. Bronze ax, which is found in is used for hunting. And carve meat. As well as pottery. Expected to be used as ritual paraphernalia associated with the dead in ancient times. Including stone bracelets. This is for core drilling is also a bronze wine jar. And many other appliances as the Fine Arts office at 2 in the initial notice that. Should be in the same age found in the historic district. T. Nong Nong royal duty Tue grass site, a row space and more than 4,000 years old.

Increasingly said that Mr. Pinyho additional. Now let Mr. Preecha Ochti multiplying F o Val prefect Deanchgag already know and work with the antiques that are found to be given to the Fine Arts office at 2 and has been accepted by the Fine Arts office at 2 to. Getting down to survey the area on 14 September in the fossil skeleton of the Fine Arts Department says. May be the remains of elephants or other animals. In addition, a large animal they believe to be a part of the villagers have to find these ancient objects found. But no one let the public know. Could be stored. To personal property.

The Mr.Kearn said 54-year-old Sri close the house No. 41 Moo 2, T. plantation mine hypersensitive Deanchgag Mon Tue Suphanburi said the fossil skeleton. They found more than 2 years but is not interested in anything. This step is to adjust the area to chop grass on his farm planted corn. Between clear the project has found fossil of 4 pieces, then have เแ point to each party to pieces. Until know the villagers found ancient objects are numerous. Fossil has taken out the Fine Arts Department, which found that animals should be a skeleton. Large parts or skeleton of the Elephant. The most likely possibility. Because the area around the year 2508 they found fossil. A large lagoon. This period also saw that their elephant herd walking across him in the water of this lagoon also. When the time found fossil. They also see the wall of rock and clay fraction parts of various appliances. But not interested in anything. So let the soil pile to date. Therefore believe that local match should be a number of antiques that are embedded under the soil.

Mr. Prakrob Innork age 52 out of the house No. 116 Moo 2, T. Deanchgag Mon Tue estate smart mine said when Suphanburi 2-3 last Sunday to walk into their store vegetables in the forest. When walking into the cassava farm. The rain came hard just OK. Cause soil to erode the soil about 1 meter deep down they noticed some things stuck underground. Has stored up and used to headman check your own records because they did not dare believe it is because of the traditional owners fear will ask for night.

Mr. Preecha Ochti multiplying F o Val prefect Deanchgag said query from the Fine Arts Department at 2 found that the source of the same areas found in royal duty Tue Tambon Nong Nong Muang Suphan Buri, the site is grass that is. very valuable and important. T. hypersensitive mine is presumed that the complex will be a hotbed for computer use in the next generation. Important that a market may be sent to these local districts such as slough grass nearby site Edimbagnagbwch Tue. That the Fine Arts Department has also said that the increase in space will be a source Tue Deanchgag with most antiques, but found no drill. However, villagers and find your own records. Would be asked to provide to government. A national treasure to the generations to posterity to study further.

“We are delighted to return to their rightful owners, the people in China.”

Experts at Chicago ’s Field Museum, said that the fossils of dinosaurs come from it seized from 100 million years.

Psittacosaurus was a small two-legged dinosaur along less than two meters, with a distinctive skull that had a parrot and open the nose up.

They were also among the fossils of dinosaur fossils have seized 24 eggs, experts of the Virginia Museum of Natural History have been previously authenticated by about 60 million years.

The fossils have been smuggled into China in a ceremony at the Chinese Embassy in Washington.

The message ’s deputy chief of mission, Xie Feng, thanked the Government of the United States.

“The sample is now at the Library of the British Geological Survey”

The fossil, estimated that 150 million years ago, was found when a stone was cracked open, revealing an inch long pocket series of black ink.

The image of the creature and the Latin name was drawn with ink.

Dr Phil Wilby of the British Geological Survey said it is an ancient animal similar to today’s squid.

“The structure is similar to that of a modern sepia ink, so that we can write to him,” he said.

“Effect Medusa”
The find was on a site that was excavated by the Victorians, where thousands of fossils from the Jurassic have been found with preserved soft tissues.
Dr. Wilby, who led the excavation, said: “We believe that these creatures were swimming around in the Jurassic period and showed the stone, shortly after his death. It ’s like the Medusa effect.”

According to experts, the possibility that thousands of animals of the region along with the companion before being poisoned by algae in water.

Remains of another species of squid were also found, that feed on carcasses of large predators attracted to them and, in turn, also died

Dr. Wilby, said: “They dissected the animals as if they were alive may be able to see the muscle fibers and cells.
“It ‘hard to imagine that something could be soft and sloppy as the ink sac in three sizes, petrified, still dark, and a rock is 150 million years.”

The sample is now in the collection of the British Geological Survey in Nottingham.
A portion of the ink sac has been sent to Yale University in the United States for a more detailed analysis of chemicals.

On 19 August, ten experts are starting to collect these fossils. Once installation is complete, a scene that shows the attack on Lufengosaurus Dilophosaurus.

“On 18 August, the new China Science and Technology Museum, a ceremony
officially awarded three dinosaur fossils.”

On August 18, Xu Yanhai, Curator of the Museum of Science and Technology of China, Zhu Fei, deputy director of Chuxiong in Yunnan Province, presented a large piece of red silk, and showed the three dinosaur fossils. The dinosaur fossils Chuxiong donated to the museum. Although these fossils have been dismantled on the ground, we see a shocking scene, the 27 meters Chuanjiesaurus, the largest dinosaur of the Middle Jurassic period, 7.1 meters of L. huenei as “the first known dinosaurs in China”, and 7 meters long Chinese Dilophosaurus, a carnivorous dinosaur rare in bed together.

A scaffold about 15 feet tall, was created in the central hall of the museum. Ten experts in dinosaur fossils are assembling these fossils of dinosaurs in attitudes depending on the intended location of the scene. The central hall is dominated by corridors and ceilings of the floors, second, third and fourth museum. Then, on several floors, visitors can no longer, more, or high or right to display of dinosaur fossils.

Reporters learned that it takes about four days, is to collect these fossils and the introduction of the fund later. These dinosaur fossils will be open to the public September 16.

Attitude: Dilophosaurus attacks Lufengosaurus

According to Wang Tao, a fossil expert assembly when the assembly is completed, the carnivore Dilophosaurus Chinese in attitude will be to attack the herbivores huenei L.. Appearance Chuanjiesaurus the two dinosaurs fighting.

“The 27 meter long “is clear Chuanjiesaurus”

Wang said that although these three dinosaurs in a different age group, a project like this will make the display more attractive place to live.

These three fossils will be available on a recovery geological Lufeng County, Chuxiong, Yunnan Province, where they were excavated. Other fossils, such as fossil trees at this time will be used to shape the built environment of the Earth from Thu Lufeng County, and the public better the environment of prehistory.

Background: the fossils are specific for visitors to touch the screen

To allow visitors a closer fossils of dinosaurs, fossils of a thigh bone of a Lufengosaurus one of ten fossils, dinosaurs and these three were transported to Beijing in touch and share special booth for visitors. This fossil, about one meter in length and in good shape, is a rarity. Tapping the three met on dinosaur fossils is prohibited.

Safety: three lines of defense in place to keep the dinosaurs throughout the night

According to head of security in force with the museum and at the same time, the fossils on the shelves and on the screen, there are three lines of defense to save fossil fuels: 50 members of the security personnel will watch over them throughout the night to assemble and display are in a relatively closed as a warehouse, cameras and an alarm system has already been commissioned and all that comes to fossils will be monitored.

Furthermore, the Assembly must be at least two members of staff of the facility. The products used are counted if they are in and out of service. Login or out of the room.

Hidden in a dark corner of the time of filing of the Museum of Natural History and Anthropology in Uruguay, the enormous skull of prehistoric mammals, the scientists say, was part of a rodent the size of a bull.

The fossil is from the top of the skull, was 20 years ago in the estuary of the River Plate in Uruguay by a fossil collector. E ‘was donated to the Museum of the laity in storage at the museum curator Andres Rinderknecht and Ernesto Blanco researchers decided to study.

Their results were only in the proceedings of the Royal Society B: Biological Sciences and estimates of livestock with an approximate length of 3 meters and the weight is probably close to 1000 kg. These estimates should be treated with some caution because it can be difficult to determine the size of the game, as in the past, in particular, except that some species received a direct comparison with.

Large animals are often disproportionately small head compared to body mass of smaller creatures, so that the estimates for this new animal – Jospehoartigasia Mones names are based on scientific deduction. If other fossils of an adult, as members of the bones, perhaps a more accurate assessment can be made.

Picture Credit: Royal Society B: Biological Sciences

The photo shows the skull of the rodent, compared to a type of rodent today. The model in gray, and the reconstruction of the whole skull, the lower jaw strong and missing teeth.

The fossil was taken from the Pliocene and is estimated at about 4 million years. The skull is typical of one of the rodents, but the animal was of exceptional size. Perhaps walking levels in South America eat grass roots, fruits and leaves and distribution levels Glyptodonts lazy and at the same time trying to prevent predatory practices “Birds” terrorism “as Phorusrhacus.

These fossils may be the largest rodent known, although the rodent Phoberomys Patterson Miocene of Brazil and Venezuela are already the same size, but perhaps with a tail longer.

The picture above shows Jospehoartigasia (A) compared to today’s largest rodent, semi-aquatic South American capybara (B), this is sufficient in most of today on the continent. He does not know whether it was Jospehoartigasia amphibians, fossils, but in an area rich in ancient waterways, so that the large rodent may be a while ‘of time in water, the ground against the major predators, grazing, in peace, on the lush vegetation. The PIN has been relatively low for a large animal, the theory that these ancient rodents fed freshwater plants.

This new classification was to find fossil fuels in Dinomyidae family, close relatives, in fact, Guinea Pigs and water, and pigs Phoberomys extinct.

He was a great animal, and not the nature of the rodents, which are expected to move to a traditional mouse trap, over a “powerful Guinea Pig” rather than “Mighty Mouse”!
